#HBAlPorto - Lab2 Beauty Makeup Brushes - First Impressions/Review

In the amazing Hull Bloggers Meet goodie bags we were all lucky enough to receive a selection of Lab2 Beauty makeup brushes. I was so excited about this as I have never actually tried Lab2 Beauty before and I was on the lookout for some new brushes for everyday use! The sets I received were the Strokes of Genius Brush Kit, On a Powder Trip Brush and The Triple Threat Multi-Purpose Brush.

Today I thought I would give you a first impressions/review type post as I always like to read these before I buy a product myself so I'm hoping it may be helpful for some of you out there. The reason this will be more of a first impressions than a full review is because I have only used these a couple of times so far and I am yet to wash them.

Pros -
Price - All of the brushes are very reasonably priced with all the sets being under £20 and the individual brushes being under £12 each.
Dense - These brushes are packed full of hairs but still have a lot of movement which is great!
Design - These brushes are a gorgeous sleek black design which looks really professional and they are also the perfect weight and shape to hold comfortably in your hand.
Synthetic Hair - This has a whole range of benefits including helping the brush last longer, being cruelty free and also giving a more precise and flawless application.

Cons -
Shedding - I have to be 100% honest with you all so I have to say I have noticed a few hairs come out of these brushes. This isn't too much of a problem currently but I will keep you updated.
Synthetic Hair - This was also a pro but this can be flipped on it's head and if I was being incredibly picky I could say synthetic hairs are not as soft as real hair. (That being said these are still incredibly soft)

Below I have inserted a recent video of mine in which I actually did use a couple of these brushes so if you would like to see them in action just click the play button!

All in all I would say I definitely like these brushes and I am really interested in picking up a few more. Especially the Make Me Blush Brush! These would be great for people who would like to add to their collection or for those who are starting from scratch!

If I had to pick my favourites out of the ones I own I would say the Triple Threat Brush and also the Brow & Lash Groomer from the Stroke of Genius Set!

Have you ever tried Lab2 Beauty Brushes? Let me know! Also if you would like to see a further review in a month or so telling you how they wash etc I would be more than happy to do that for you!
